Task
Create a slide deck in class that represents a portfolio of analytics methods used in accounting, economics or finance.
Assessment Description
Learning Outcomes: LO2, LO3, LO4 and LO5
For approximately 30 minutes in class of Week 12 you will recap and discuss as a class group a few of the key analytics methods used in accounting, economics and finance.
You will then, as an individual create a slide deck for submission in that class.
Assessment Instructions
As an individual,
You will choose five analytics methods and a financial, accounting, or economics application for each one.
Out of the five methods that you chose, investigate one in more detail.

Reflect on the benefits and limitations of the methods, as they apply to one of the companies provided in class, and possible ethical, legal, or privacy issues.
Refer to the assessment marking guide to assist you in completing all the assessment criteria.
Slide creation
The slide format should be as follows:
Title, student name, and ID
Analytics methods 1 to 4 create a slide for the analytics method and one for the application
Analytics method 5 create three slides for the analytics method and one for the application
Evaluate how your chosen analytics methods can be used to address the needs of the company from the case study provided in class. [ 1 slide, 2 marks]
Reflect and list the limitations of the analytics methods chosen
Discuss in short sentence form possible ethical, legal, and privacy issues
Video Recording
Create a 5-minute video presenting the slides you have created on the analytics method you have chosen. Your video should:
Be clear and of high quality
Address how this method relates to one of the companies presented in class
Evaluate its benefits and limitations
Show yourself as the presenter
Be creative, including the use of visual aids
