The are many ways Jackie can deal with Brad. The first idea that I would like to share that she could do would be to ask Brad why he don’t follow the rules and even ask him are he aware of the company policies. Jackie could then speak with Brad about discipline if the behavior insists she could advise him about possible terminaction if the behavior isn’t stopped. I would also give her the advice to ask Brad what did his former manager allowed him to do and if the rules was allowed to bend or broken, I would tell him that mines are different and how my expectations are the same as the company and that we follow all rules and protocols. She can go to his previous performance evaluation and contrast his habit and performance. It can give her a general background on Brad and she can evaluate how she much trained and continue his development.
