A flat sheet of crystalline quartz has athickness of 3.1 cm. It is on top of aflat sheet of diamond that has a thicknessof 3.0 cm. Light strikes the crystalline quartz perpendicularly and travels throughit and then through the diamond. In thetime it takes the light to travel through the two sheets, how far would it have traveled in a vacuum?
