Course Outcomes

After completing this course, you should be able to:

• evaluate global and domestic human resources issues and problems in order to present strategic solutions
• apply research skills in the human resources field to synthesize scholarly and professional literature
• compare and contrast theories and practices in human resources in order to analyze and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses
• analyze different human resources metrics in order to determine the effectiveness of human resources programs

Topic #1

Companies are looking to cut costs. Unfortunately, some of the first cuts are felt in the training department. If you were a manager of a training division, how would you sell training as an important entity to your company?

Since we are at the end of this class, this is the perfect time to reflect upon the achievement of Course Outcomes.
