Question: In this unit we will discuss strategy implementation which is the third phase in the strategic management process. Strategy implementation involves preparing the organization to implement the strategy that was formulated in the previous phase. To effectively prepare your organization for implementation you need to have the right organizational structure to successfully implement strategy, understand the life cycle of your organization, and have the right staffing and leadership resources.

- Evaluate different organizational structures (simple, functional, divisional, matrix, geographic, product, etc.) and respond to the following:

- Describe the relationship between organizational structure and effective strategic management

- Assess the organizational structure of ZAPPOS and determine how the organizational structure drives their strategic management decisions
