ABC City Council has experienced severe reductions in government funding and consequently has had to undertake a major re-organisation of its services as well as make significant number of its staff redundant. Staff morale is low and there is now an urgent need for clearer leadership direction to meet future business challenges.

As Human Resource Manager you have been asked to:

TASKS

1 Critically evaluate TWO different management development interventions and recommend which is appropriate to address the above issues.

2 Critically analyse how ABC City Council should formulate future leadership and management development strategies to ensure that they have a suitable supply of leaders and managers to meet current and future needs.

You are required to provide a minimum of 10 appropriate academic references to support your work
