The goal of this assignment is to determine whether a company is transparently communicating its environmental impact and has established a clear quantitative approach to doing so.  Evaluate the company's use of metrics within a sustainability report:

  • How well are they tracking their metrics?
  • How are they reaching goals?
  • Which metrics should be tracked?
  • Which metrics are not tracked?

Review the report, analyzing the strengths of its components-e.g., quantitative goals, broad range of measures, and engagement of stakeholders. Be sure to include citations!
