In a group of 3-4 persons, students will select an Australian organization who has recently gone through a change (Students are expected to do their research based on search engines). Students will conduct a basic research on the selected organization's developmental history and design a change management and change communication strategy reflecting the organizational policy and procedure.
Structure:
You may adopt the following sections in your report:
1. Executive summary: A Summary of the chosen organization and the major change plan that they are planning to execute. This should also contain an outline of the change management execution strategy and the change management communication plan
2. Introduction: A description and background about the organisation or/and its products or services and a general roadmap of the entire assignment flow ( The purpose and objective of this group report). You need to specify the change that the company is going through and also identify the responsible person/ department for executing and communicating this change.
3. Change Forces: Highlight the reasons and forces behind the change in General Motors. The explanation should be supported with references and links to theoretical principles and standards.
4. Change Management Strategy: Reflecting your knowledge of the theories learn from this course, design a complete change management strategy for your chosen organization.
5. Change Communication Plan: Design a complete change communication plan identifying the key stakeholders ( both internal and external) and considering the issues in any communication program.
