The Assessment Task
1. This assessment is a self-development portfolio. You are expected to reflectively discuss how the learned theories, concepts and your engagement with the activities helped you to develop your skills required to be ethical and responsible leader.
2. You will link learning, development and leadership theories in your discussions reflectively and analytically when developing your development Portfolio.
3. As part of the preparation, you are expected to engage with the e-portfolio which is a mandatory formative assessment.
4. Final submission should be developed using the formative entries in your e-portfolio and submitted as a single word document.
In Details
1. Structural Guidelines
Introduction - a brief introduction to the report, please make sure that you write clearly and succinctly (there is only 2000 words +/- 10%).
The Body of the Development Portfolio - You should plan your arguments, paragraphs and sections according to your own engagement with the module content, themes, and your learning (peer learning, learning from tutors, extensive reading etc). Please make sure that your arguments are logical and sequential and academically well supported.
Conclusion - provide an overview of the report and the outcome of your discussion.
References - Please make sure that all the references are according to Harvard Reference guidance provided (see UON guidance).
2. You should continuously work on improving academic writing, critical analysis and to understand the expectations at this level (Level 7 - UK qualifications)
3. Please make sure that you understand the issues related to late submissions, academic misconduct, plagiarism and failing the module.
