Project Action Plan Review

Learning Outcome 1: Critically evaluate a problem within the software engineering body of knowledge, including appraising established theories and recent industry developments

Learning Outcome 2: Devise a structured enquiry-based project relevant to professional practice with the use of appropriate principles and methods and with a suitable level of personal autonomy and accountability

Learning Outcome 3: Communicate effectively in ways appropriate to the discipline, client, audience and purpose

Learning Outcome 4: Apply a systematic process of problem solving to identify and assess a real-world need and propose an appropriate solution to the problem

Learning Outcome 5: Critically reflect on personal and professional experiences to engage in independent development beyond formal education for lifelong learning.

Task Summary
Assessment 3 represents the culmination of the work you have already done for Assessments 1 and 2. Your submission for Assessment 3 comprises the final presentation, code and a written report comprehensive report. This includes a 7,500-word (+/-10%) written report that incorporates your major findings following the implementation of your Action Plan, the source code written and any other supporting documentation deemed necessary.

The aim is to identify an informed approach that clearly demonstrates an understanding of the contextual environment in which the project was undertaken. It is expected that continuous improvement initiatives will be central to your Action Plan review. Your course facilitator will assist you by providing examples as to what kinds of continuous improvement initiatives might be of relevance to your Action Plan.

Task Instructions-Assessment
To complete this Assessment, you need to evaluate and critique the following questions and statements:

1. Post-Implementation Action Plan Review: Draft an informed report that outlines the limitations and constraints of the project's implementation. Discuss the features and aspects that can be deemed successful in their execution. In your response, ensure that you cover the aspects that were examined in Assessment 2.

2. As part of this review, make recommendations for further projects of a similar nature.

3. As this is a group presentation, submit a series of slides (or similar) to illustrate your use of the source code. As part of this submission, include a decision tree scenario that highlights bottlenecks and other process deviations that caused issues and were deemed deviations away from the goals and objectives. Refer to one (1) limitation and/or constraint to support this scenario.

Structure
Use the following guide to structure the Action Plan Review of your project:
1. Executive Summary
2. Introduction-Background Information
Add to or amend the description of the organisation and the nature of the industry in which it operates. This should be aligned with your professional interests.
3. Brief Outline of the Organisation's Goals and Objectives (SMART-Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely).
4. Action Plan Review
Review the limitations and constraints and the successful features of the project's
execution.
Outline the quality initiatives that were (and were not) incorporated into your project.
5. Recommendations
Make recommendations for projects of a similar nature.
6. Data
Provide data in the form of slides (or similar) of the source code to support your written report.
Include a decision tree scenario that details any bottlenecks and other process deviations away from the goals and objectives.
7. Conclusion
8. Reference List
9. Appendices

Contribution Statement
You also need to write a brief contribution statement of 150 words (+/-10%) outlining your individual efforts in the group project. This short statement must include:
- An overview of your tasks within the context of the group work;
- A statement detailing the specific ideas you contributed in relation to the issues considered; and
- A description of the role/s you played in helping put together this assessment task.

It is essential that you use appropriate APA style for citing and referencing research.
