Examine whether a company that engages in "ethically responsible" behavior solely for the purpose of being profitable, is being self-serving and using its "ethical" behavior only as one more approach to increase value for their customers and owners.

Assume you are a manager for a shoe manufacturer that decides to move operations to Indonesia to increase profit margins. The company wants you to hire men and women for double the local average wage for that part of the world to assemble these shoes in a new factory in Indonesia that follows all local regulations.
