Question

Ethical standards go way beyond not using protected classes and information. For example, what happens if you are conducting a qualitative study with back-to-back interviews. You jotted down some notes on the last interview and left them on the table while you went to get water. Your next participant arrived before you returned to the room and when you came back, you saw the new participant reading your notes regarding the previous interview - well that suddenly is a breach of confidentiality that you promised everyone. So, you need to think about your processes so that something like this does not happen.
