The two standards that I would feel confident in implementing in my classroom are:

Section I: Ethical responsibilities to children. I feel as adults, we are all ethically responsible for children, even more so as an early childhood educator. Childhood is a very important part of our life and it is imperative that children be provided with the proper care and guidance.

Section III: Ethical responsibilities to colleagues. When working in a positive environment, your job performance can be done exceedingly well. I feel like colleagues should work together and give each other respect. This is about as important as taking care of the child. Colleagues should know how to effectively solve any disagreements professionally. We are role models to our children.

The standard that I would need more support in is Section IV: Ethical responsibility to community and society. This section, I believe is mostly for principals or directors of an early childhood program. I would need more support on things I could do to help improve early childhood within the community/society.
