Case study

A 27-year-old genetic man presents to your clinic wearing women's clothing. He tells you that from a very young age he has believed he was born with the wrong assigned gender. He also reports that he is most comfortable living life as a woman and that he has done so for the past 6 months. This patient also reports that he is ready for the next step in the process of becoming a woman. He is requesting to be started on female hormones to gain more feminine physical qualities.

Centuries back, switching of genders was considered only a dream. But now science and technology has made this possible. Hormone therapy and accurate medical procedures has made this possible. It’s really unnatural for a genetic man to choose to be a woman and vice-versa. But it totally depends on mental and medical state of a person. Treatment given by doctors change sex are considered totally unethical by most legal systems and catholics; because this type of act defies the choice and presence of God Almighty.
