Ethical Dilemma Imagine your product has become very successful. You are now starting your 5th year of operations. Sales peaked after the 1st year of operations, but since over the past 3 years they have remained stagnant. One idea that you and your team have considered is to use suppliers in another country where the cost of labor is much cheaper and could reduce your overall costs. For this part, research a country that would make sense for you to outsource labor of your manufacturing. This decision will directly impact the warehouse employees. Research needs to be completed on the supply of labor, cost of labor, labor conditions in that country (facility locations, age of workers, number of hours worked each week, etc) and the risk of outsourcing and potential negative implications. Do you think there is anything unethical about this decision? For this scenario, you are to write a 2-3 page summary in a letter format discussing the situation and your decision to the Board of Directors for their final approval. Please cite all resources you used in research. This section does not require MLA format. Please just list your sources at the end in a proper references format.
