Attention should be given to interprofessional relationships in the consideration of the ethical decision making process, with clear identification of points of contention or agreement.

Criteria for assessment

Consideration of the position of the protagonist (main character) in the scenario and identification of the ethical dimensions of the presenting case, including competing professional principles and values.

Ability to use a clearly identified ethical decision-making model to systematically explore the presenting situation, highlighting relevant steps of the process, and articulating a justifed final position that is consistent with professional practice.

Ability to write a well-structured, grammatically correct and accurately referenced piece of academic work.
