In a Gallup Poll of 1005 randomly selected Americans in April 2006, 482 responded "yes" to the question, "Do you consider the amount of federal income tax you have to pay as too high?"

a. If appropriate, find a 90% confidence interval for the population proportion of all Americans who consider that the amount of federal income tax they pay is too high?

b. If appropriate, find a 99% confidence interval for the population proportion of all Americans who consider that the amount of federal income tax they pay is too high.
