A 300 turn solenoid with a length of 35cm and a diameter of 10cm carries a current of 0.234A. An electron inside the solenoid moves in a circle with a radius of 4.5cm perpendicular to the axis of the solenoid.

a) What is the magnitude of the magnetic field B inside the solenoid?

b) What is the speed of the electron?

c) If the field inside the solenoid is directed away from you, will the electron move clockwise or counterclockwise as you view it? Explain your reasoning.
