Solve the all parts of following problem given below:

Problem: A resistor is constructed out of carbon by forming a cylinder with radius 0.11 mm and length 0.31 cm.

Part A: What is the resistance of the resistor between the ends of the piece of carbon? The resistivity of carbon is 1.375e-5 ohm*m.

Part B: If the resistor is hooked up to a 12.0 V ideal battery and we assume that the current density is constant throughout the resistor, what is the magnitude of the electric field that is created within the battery?
