FLUID FLOW PROBLEM NO 28- Water is pumped from a large reservoir into an open tank using a standard steel pipe with an inside diameter of 0.0525 m. The reservoir and the tank are open to the atmosphere. The difference in vertical elevation between the water surface in the reservoir and the discharge point at the top of the tank is 21.3 m.The length of the pipe line =305 m. The efficiency of the pump is 40 % and includes the losses at the entrance and exit of the pump. if the flow rate of the water is to be maintained at 3.15*10^-3 m3/s. and the water temperature at 16 oc . ,estimate the power of the pump.
