The data in the table below are taken from records compiled by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles in the State of Florida in 1988. The rows indicate whether or not a seat belt was worn and the rows indicate whether or not the accident was fatal.

a. Estimate the odds ratio for a fatal accident if not wearing a seat belt compared with wearing a seat belt.

b. Find a 95 percent confidence interval for the odds-ratio.
