It has been proposed that energy be taken as heat from the atmosphere around Milwaukee and used to run a power plant. Energy would be rejected as heat to Lake Michigan. Estimate the maximum efficiency of conversion of thermal energy to electric power which could be obtained in such a plant. Consider the following cases:

a) Spring: Average High Air Temperature = 12.2°C, Average Lake Temperature = 5°C

b) Summer: Average High Air Temperature = 27.3°C, Average Lake Temperature = 19°C
