Air at 40-C and 200 kPa enters a 300-m section of 10-cm-diameter galvanized iron pipe. If a pressure drop of 200 Pa is measured over the section, estimate the mass flux and the flow rate. Because the Moody diagram requires a trial-and-error solution, one of the alternate equations is recommended. Assume the air to be incompressible.
