Hot water at 90 degrees C flows through a carbon-steel tube whose ID is 2 cm and OD is 3 cm, at a bulk velocity of 30 m/s. The length of the tube is 10 m. The exterior natural convection coefficient is 8 W/m2*K and the ambient temperature is 25 degrees C.

a) Estimate the interior convective heat transfer coefficient.

b) Calculate the rate of heat loss through the wall of the tube.
