The average output power of a cellular phone, which can be treated as a point of E-M waves, is 1.0W when it is "ON".

(a) Estimate the intensity of the phone's E-M waves in your brain, which is about 1.0 cm away from the phone when it used directly against your ear;

(b) Compare it with the intensity in a 400-W microwave oven, whose area of cross-section is A = 0.25m X 0.20m.

(c) Estimate the peak electric field E(p) in above two situations.
