Assignment:

Hall used breeding studies to estimate the influence of genes on behavior. In humans, twin studies have led to calculation of heritability quotients for human behavior including intelligence and personality traits. Comparison of monozygotic and dizygotic twins as well as monozygotic twins reared apart have led to estimates of the contribution of environment to behavior. What do you see as the future of behavioral genetics? Will we all be genetically engineered to be optimal humans (see the movie, Gattica)? Or we be assigned to different jobs based on our genetic predispositions (see the movie, Divergent or the sorting scene from Harry Potter)?
