Two copper blocks, each of mass 1.00kg, initially have differenttemperatures, 20 degree celsius and 28 degree celsius. The blocksare placed in contact with each other and come to thermalequilibrium. No heat is lost to the surroundings.

a) Find the final temperature of the blocks and the heattransferred between them.

b) Find the entropy change of each block during the time interval inwhich the first joule of heat flows.

c) Estimate the entropy change of each block after it has reachedthermal equilibrium. Use each block's average temperature duringthe process in calculating the estimated values of Δ S.
