Discussion
Towards the end of Chapter 10, you read about Work Sampling - an estimate of the percentage of the time that a worker spends on various tasks. Review Example 6 for further analysis.
Perform a work sampling study of your own activities during each day of the workweek (get in as many days as you can - minimum of 4 days). You decide on the basic activity categories (eating, traveling, studying in class, etc.). Compute the number of observations required, and collect and record the data.
You can use the "Table" tool found in this rich text editor to complete this assignment. Click on the Table icon, select table, and then select the number of cells and rows you need.
Summarize your report and analyze it. What do your results tell you about how you allocate your time?
Because of the time needed to complete this discussion, initial posts are due by Friday. Responses to two peers are due on Sunday.
