The confidence intervals for the BMI_index for both males and females have been calculated. The confidence interval of the female is broader in comparison to the males. The assumption that the BMI_males is greater than that of the BMI_females has been validated here. To substantiate the same a testing of means at 99% level of significance has been carried out.The testing turned out to be insignificant as the p-value>0.01. Therefore we conclude that there is no significant difference in the BMI_values across gender.
