Question: In 2006, psychologist Neil Bearden found the best working answer to the question, how many people should you date to get a good sampling of who's compatible before you settle down?

His approach, applied to a pool of 10 people, will on average get you someone about 75 percent perfect; in a pool of 100 candidates, the figure is around 90 percent.
