A small block with mass m=3 kg is on the right of the large block and is initially a distance d=1.4 m above the ground. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the blocks is 0.26 and the coefficient of static friction between the blocks is 0.42.

a.) What is the minimum force P that must be applied to the large block so that the small block does not fall?

b.) If the magnitude of the applied force is P=250 N, the small block will slide down against the large block. If the small block starts from rest, how long does it take to hit the ground?
