1. This chapter discusses the establishment of nationwide databases containing DNA samples. Do you believe that such a database is vulnerable to misuse by the government? For instance, what if insurance companies asked for access to these records to discover who had inheritable diseases and then refused coverage to those people because they were considered excessive risks? Is such a database a violation of privacy? Explain your answer.

4. At various times in the past decades, there have been calls to abolish the Exclusionary Rule. Give two reasons why abolishing this rule would be a good idea.

5. List and explain at least two reasons the Exclusionary Rule is a good idea and should be kept as originally mandated by the U.S. Supreme Court.
