An employment branding policy is establishing equal opportunity employment for everyone. This means that the same employment processes are utilized no matter who the person is applying for a job. This ensures that everyone is afforded the same opportunity and provided equal treatment. When organizations implement this policy, ensures equal and fair treatment and actually abides by it, retention rates can be positively impacted within the organization. Implementing this policy includes both internal and external recruitment as a primary strategy. Ethical and legal issues that should be considered are discrimination, bias, harassment, preferential treatment, misconduct, and the use of social media. In my opinion, they all can negatively impact any organization and can be seriously detrimental to an organization's success, their brand, and their reputation.
