Often afforded the role of aligning resources, the operations manager serves as an external ombudsperson, or negotiator, in organizations. The purpose of this discussion is to analyze the most critical aspects of this role.
Review Johnston and Staughton's "Establishing and Developing Strategic Relationships" the Role for Operations Managers" article. Using online research skills, identify at least one other scholarly resource on this topic.
