The chief academic officer at your institution wants the nursing education program to establish a new graduation requirement: Students would need to achieve a certain score on a standardized comprehensive test designed to predict NCLEX outcome. Students who do not meet this standard would be required to take an additional 1-credit course that would give them an opportunity to continue to prepare to take the NCLEX and then they would retake the standardized test.
