Subject DescriptionThe focus is on human resources (HR) planning and includes the design of employee evaluation plans. Students learn how to forecast the human resources needs of an organization and to relate the requirements of the organization within ambient socio-political situations.
Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:
- Describe the essential elements of human resource planning processes within organizations.
- Demonstrate knowledge in analysing, assessing, evaluating and programming for an organization's human resource requirements in a dynamic business environment.
- Demonstrate the use of qualitative concepts and quantitative techniques related to specific situations.
- Explain the necessity of planning for an organization's future human resource needs and become familiar with the tools required for effective staff planning and development.
- Recognize the key elements of strategic outsourcing and evaluate its effectiveness as it relates to international HR management.
