Topic for Essay In keeping with the theme and readings of the class in Chapter 1, 'Intercultural Communication". The topic of Essay will be related to cultural patterns, behaviors, values and beliefs.

Topic 1) You should describe a cultural pattern in your country that you believe someone (not from your country) would not be aware of. Consider values, beliefs, communication styles and concepts of time. 2) Building on the above compare and/or contrast the cultural pattern which you have chosen with a corresponding one from the U.S.

1. For this essay, you should also use at least two (2) direct quotes from two (2) different articles which we have read for class. And you should include a Work Cited entry for both articles.

2. Be sure to use key vocabulary from the articles we have read from Chapter 1.
