The equilibrium constant for hydration of acetone is 2 * 10^-3 which translates into a small percent conversion to the hydrate (1,2-diol). Would you expect the equilibrium constant for hexafluoroacetone to be smaller or larger than that for acetone? Briefly explain your reasoning.
