Due to the Bush Administration's relaxed EPA standard, an environmental testing client decides late in a project that the arsenic detection instrument included in the custom field labs they ordered is no longer needed. They request the project be modified to remove the instrument from the 10 labs ordered and currently nearing the end of manufacturing. The work required to remove the arsenic detection instruments is expected to require additional resources if the project is to meet the delivery schedule.
