A country is currently experiencing a construction boom. An international investor has made the necessary applications to construct a hotel. This hotel is expected to serve both local and international markets. The Investor intends to establish the facility in relatively virgin, vegetative area along Georgetown. The location 1s also situated near to a major river. Some experts believe that environmental implications are likely. It is necessary to undertake an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study on this proposed project.
