What coment can I give to this post A environmental concern from my hometown would span from the Massive dump that we operate. The Chessar Island Landfill is a huge cash generator for the county, and as my 3 year old calls it, is a true South Georgia Mountain, you can literally see it miles before you approach it. The landfill is lined, so dumping the normal household trash is not a huge concern, but in the past recent years, we have been accepting "coal ash" from surrounding states. Although the coal ash is a cash generator, the county has been weighing potential environmental issues that may arise. Coal Ash is the by product from burning coal.
