Global Filter Corp. completed the following petty cash transactions during July, 2014.

July 1 : Drew a $1,000.00 cheque, cashed it, and gave the proceeds and the petty cash box to Harold Cooper, the petty cashier.

July 4 : Purchased paper for office copier, $126.75.

July 5 : Purchased office stationery for $132.50.

July 6 : Paid $136.15 for minor computer repairs.

July 8 : Paid $137.50 for stamps.

July 9 : Paid $154.70 for stamps.

July 11 : Paid $133.95 for stamps.

July 14 : Paid $128.15 for janitorial services.

July 31 : Harold Cooper sorted the petty cash receipts by accounts affected and exchanged them for a cheque to reimburse the fund for expenditures. However, there was $52.60 in cash in the fund. In addition, the size of the petty cash fund was decreased to $975.00.
