Question 2

As an engineer, you have been asked to design a digital thermometer. The designed digital thermometer should operate in a wide temperature range, specifically in the range from -20 °C to 130°C for the ambient temperature. The supply voltage for the system should be between 8 to 11 V. The temperature sensors should have analog output which will be fed into the microcontroller. The accuracy of the temperature sensors should be better than +- %. The unit price of the sensors used for the system should not exceed 10 KWD. The height x width x depth dimensions should not be more than 240 x 122 x 62 mm. Finally, the Scan frequency should be at least 12.5 measurements/s

a) Analyze the given data sheet (Tab.1) and determine all the sensors that can be used, if any. If there are multiple sensors suitable, then choose only one and explain your choice. If such a sensor is not available in Tab.1, then you write the features of the sensor you are looking for in the last row (T-sensor X).
