Engaged in collaborative work and reflecting on the process of collaboration. First reflection. Think about two collaborative projects you were a part of, one where things went well, the work got done, and you found the process rewarding. Now think about one that didn't go so well, where perhaps the work was not completed, or at least didn't go as planned, and the process left you frustrated.

Describe both of these and, as you do, what went well in the first case and why you think things worked so smoothly. Was the structure of the project? Was it about how the conflict was managed? Did you have structures in place that supported effective communication? Were there attitudes among participants (for example, curiosity rather than judgment) that made things go smoothly?

And for the second, what happened to make things not go so well? Looking back, what could have been changed so that the project when better?
