LoRA WAN, IoT and sensor measurement system

Objective 1: Analyse the performance of these new measurement systems against smart/intelligent sensors.
Objective 2: Propose solutions which yield reliable measurement systems in the IoT/LoRA WAN area.
Objective 3: Assess the needs in terms of measurement from both hardware and software perspectives for an identified application area of your choice.
Objective 4: Design - in theory - a measurement system (hardware and software) as part of a solution developed for a given problem. This can be done in simulation and/or on suitable hardware available to you.

You are required to conduct a detailed identification, description and analysis of the impact of the newest developments in measurement systems: IoT using LoRA WAN. Some (but not all) key questions might include:

• What sensors and measurement systems/technologies are being used and how are these exploited by companies and individuals?

• What are the likely technical, economic and environmental impacts of these new developments?

• What are the current and possible future technologies that can improve measurement systems in the long run?

• What are possible implementation issues of future IoT implementations?
