"What did you say?" When you are on the receiving end of offensive comments in a negotiation setting, your first response may be to offend back, or to stalk off in anger and displeasure. If you leave you could risk both parties walking away from the table without any meaningful exchange of ideas and diverting all attention away from the original issue. As a team member, what are your suggestions regarding a response to the offender and steps used to continue the negotiation.
