Fabrication of carbon nanotube reinforced composites.

Carbon nanotube reinforced composites have gained immense interest among researchers for developing high performance materials for wide variety of applications.

In this project, the students will disperse carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in epoxy and will investigate the effect of incorporation of CNTs on the mechanical deformation behaviour of the composite.

The students will prepare the CNT reinforced composite using solvent-casting approach and will then investigate the effect of CNT concentration on the tensile strength and stiffness of the composite.
