A possible breakdown of the number of suggestions over a 3-year period by employee sex and geographic location follows.
Questions to answer:
Is there any relationship between the sex of the employee and the geographic location in terms of number of suggestions? If they are related, what does this relationship mean to the company?
What business implications might there be for such an analysis?
My answers
The contingency table shows that there are more males working at Footlocker than there are females.
The contingency table results show that there is no significant relationship between the sex of the employee and the geographic location in the 3-year period.
Business implications for such an analysis could include that Footlocker prefers to hire males or females, the company can take a loss by not meeting to the needs of female customers and their can be labor disputes.
