Raj wants to participate in a master's program that will prepare him for future opportunities in a leadership role. He has just began his role in the company and the most common path to leadership is after 5-7 years of service. In his supervisor's opinion, Raj should be focused on learning to do his job well because of his short tenure with the company. The supervisor has approved a basic HR certificate program for him instead of the masters in leadership program that Raj has requested.
