Assessment Description

CRISP-DM data mining has four levels: abstractions phase, generic task, specialized task, and process interface, which constitutes a hierarchical process model.

In this assignment, employ the CRISP-DM data mining stages. Apply the methodology to this assignment, providing all the tasks necessary to follow the hierarchical process.

Write a 1,500 to 1,750-word report using the "Midterm and Final Exams Table" to address the following:

• Define CRISP-DM and the step cycles.
• Identify business understandings, the data, and data preparation.
• Create a model that will justify the data prepared.
• Analyze the results from the model and deploy the data.
• Plot the data. Do x and y seem to have a linear relationship?
• Use the method of least squares to find an equation for the prediction of a student's final exam grade based on the student's midterm grade in the course.
• Predict the final exam grade of a student who received an 86% on the midterm exam.
